New Stavanger University Hospital

This is agreement number 2 in 2021 for the delivery of data room infrastructure to the new Stavanger University Hospital. We have delivered similar solutions for over 10 years to the health sector, based on the fact that these solutions are very energy efficient with PUEs below 1.2 with current technology. The principle is the cube design of the rack rows, with an enclosed hot zone and ice water-based InRow cooling. With today’s technology on servers, routers, switches and storage, you can safely run temperatures between 27-29 degrees in the cold zone and up to 40 degrees in the warm zone. These are temperatures well above the dew point, so that condensation problems are avoided. If you also have control over the humidity of between 45-55% with the help of automatic humidification, you get extremely efficient cooling and the lowest possible energy consumption

Our solution to the tender request was APC rack, coolers, PDUs/power rails, LED lighting and encapsulation of the hot zone with a roof above and a door at the end.
