ASP Data Center AS is a 100% Norwegian-owned company and a pure data center operator. Their commitment to data centers started when they bought a property at Forus in Stavanger in 2022, where NTC Services is now the main contractor for data center construction. NTC also has the role of advisor in the project.
NTC Services takes responsibility for the entire project
The majority of ASP Data Center’s customers are large foreign players, who choose Norway for secure data storage and deployment of AI projects due to relatively low electricity prices and low energy consumption for cooling in this country. When demand increases, ASP Data Center is proactive and builds more. NTC Services came in early on as an advisory party for how ASP Data Center will build the data center at Forus, and is carrying this out. The project will be completed when the supply capacity of the data center is increased from 1 to 5 megawatts.
Building data centers at record speed
ASP Data Center differentiates itself in the market by being able to quickly help customers with available capacity. Therefore, it is a good match that NTC Services is also quick in the turnaround and can deliver good solutions in a short time.

Scaling data centers
Ole Fredrik Bergseth is CEO of ASP Data Center and is responsible for the commercial work in the company, but he also has a background in IT technology and data centers. He elaborates on the collaboration with NTC Services:
– NTC Services has extensive experience in the industry, which is quite unique – at least in a Norwegian context where this industry is fairly young. “It has been very useful for us to work with NTC, which employs people with sought-after expertise. Jarle, Erik, Trond and the rest of the team have a strong professional weight.
Bergseth concludes:
– We will further develop the data center and build more at new locations. We are very positive about choosing NTC as an advisory and executing party also in the future scaling.
