THIS IS NTC
NTC was established in 2002, the owners had then for a couple of years worked as consultants for APC since 1999, and established them as a leading player in UPS and power protection in Norway.
Through this work, it was realized that there were several manufacturers who were not represented in Norway, not least because the start-up costs are often significant in relation to the size of the market.
By dedicating people and avoiding directly competing products, it was considered possible to offer our services to other manufacturers through an agent model.

CARRYING POWER
With over 20 years of experience as a supplier of solutions to the data center industry, NTC has seen that nothing lasts forever. The data centers tend to change greatly over time, they grow larger, they are moved, they are closed down, they are acquired, they are merged and, not least, they change as a result of new technology and increasing levels of cloud services.
One of the “consequential damages” is that enormous amounts of solutions are phased out long before their useful value has been used up.
A significant contribution to the sustainability discussion is that we build small and medium-sized data centers in existing buildings. With this, we avoid using large quantities of concrete, which is usually necessary in connection with new construction. Cement/concrete is another significant contributor to the emission of large amounts of CO2. This is also the reason why we are seeing the first new data center buildings built with timber in our neighboring country Sweden. Sustainability is far more than just using Norwegian hydro and wind power, it is the entire plant’s life cycle that you should keep in mind and not least how long you can keep it alive, before investing in new ones. If you are going to move or demolish your old data centre, get in touch for a non-binding conversation about how it can be carried out in an optimal and timely manner.
UN SUSTAINABILITY GOALS
NTC as a player in the data center industry has a responsibility also related to manufacturers, suppliers, partners and customers. We want the entire value chain, to the extent possible, to have the same focus as ourselves on quality, environment and safety, which can be visualized and practiced through the use of systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001. Our commitment to the data center industry can be measured, among other things . with the lowest CO2 footprint and lowest PUE compared to the facilities we build in the form of data centres. By building small and medium-sized data centers in existing buildings, combined with maximum use of space, elements of reuse and modern technology, we build the market’s greenest installations.
THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Against the backdrop of the fact that we waste hardware that has a useful value, we put these goods after their use on the websites of https://www.cirkla.tech/ where there is probably a customer somewhere in the world who can make use of them of the solution and thus avoid having to buy anything new. We do this, among other things, in our own prosjkets, reuse racks, cooling, PDUs, UPSs, cabling and other things and in this way reduce the CO2 emissions that would be caused by buying everything new.
Production of steel is a major contributor to production CO2. Some equipment cannot be reused or should not be reused, for safety reasons such as e.g. disks. Then we use services from https://drig.no/sikkersletting/ and ensure that this is done in accordance with regulations. Other goods that cannot be used are recycled as these goods contain materials that are in high demand.
